"Step into my parlour", said the spider to the fly....
Welcome to my wee
corner of cyberspace.
I've woven together some of the various threads of my "artistic expression" here, so why don't you stick around for awhile. I promise not to bite. Too hard.
How do I vent? Let me count the ways... Mostly I sing and write music, and yes, I've been doing this for awhile... but I am I still crazy in love with creating and performing and I can't see ever stopping. I also have a hankering to try my hand at some form of visual art in the not too distant future... in fact I've decided I want to learn how to weld and to paint, although not necessarily at the same time. And of course, like many writers, I imagine that I have a novel or two in me somewhere...
It's now February 2006. I haven't updated this site in over a year, so I am now. From late 2004 to late 2005 about the only thing I was doing was Blues Element, so there didn't seem much point in even visiting this space. I've had a website of one kind or another for quite some time, and in the early days I used to write long, newsy paragraphs about upcoming gigs etc., and then go back and change everything to the past tense after it happened. It was exhausting, and after a while I gave up. Now of course, everybody's blogging and MySpacing and Facebooking and keeping online diaries. Don't expect a blog here anytime soon however, even with the ease of the new programs. I do love my little Mac laptop, but doing any of that would require a little more time than I have available to spend with her...boo hoo... In the meantime, there have been some actual events to report, and I have recently started to get involved again in musical projects outside of Blues Element (which has been keeping me quite happily busy!) So, an over-all overhaul, and that should do for another year or so, LOL. AND, STILL COMING SOME DAY: mp3's of select cuts from over the years (in addition to what you will find on the What page).
